Privacy Policy

• This document is the Privacy Policy of Gryphon Consultants Pty Ltd (Gryphon), an IT recruitment agency dedicated to the successful placement of IT candidates in the Western Australia market place.
• The personal information that Gryphon collects is obtained from Job Seekers, Clients and Staff (Stakeholders) with their full knowledge and from diverse sources such as the Internet, fax, email and post.
• The personal information is used for the process of satisfying the job requirements of Clients by selecting and placing suitably screened Job Seekers in those positions. The personal information is stored either on paper or in electronic format. The personal information is not disclosed or used for any other purpose.
• Gryphon takes all reasonable steps to ensure that the quality of the personal information that is collected, used or disclosed is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
• Gryphon stores Stakeholders’ personal information in controlled facilities and takes reasonable steps to protect the personal information it holds from misuse, loss or unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
• Only authorised persons within Gryphon providing proof of identity are given access to personal information. Gryphon obtains express authority from Stakeholders for their personal information to be released to a third party.

• If Stakeholders want to view, update or have their personal information removed from Gryphon’s database they may contact jobs@gryphon.com.au or Gryphon Consultants Pty Ltd. No reasonable such request will be denied.
• Gryphon does not adopt, use or transfer any Identifiers of Commonwealth Agencies or its contractors in the Job Recruitment process.
• It is not considered practical for Job Seekers to preserve anonymity when submitting their personal information. Persons are not identified unless express permission is given.
• Gryphon will only transfer personal information to a third party in a foreign country when the Stakeholder has given express permission.
• Gryphon only collects sensitive information when specifically supplied or requested to by the Stakeholder.
• This policy may be updated from time to time, but any changes will not reduce the privacy protection set out above and will not affect information previously collected, unless required by law or otherwise beyond Gryphon’s control, e.g. technological changes. Any such changes to this policy that adversely affect privacy protection of the Stakeholders will be reflected in this policy.
